En mi quehacer artístico, que se manifiesta principalmente en la escultura pero también en la pintura y el grabado, exploro la figura humana y sus emociones. Mi objetivo es develar la verdad íntima de los lazos que nos unen, persiguiendo lo invisible para hacerlo tangible.

En la escultura, mi elección de materiales como el bronce, la resina y el acero, no es casual. Me atrae su dureza y permanencia, viendo el acto de modelar con las manos como un gesto casi sagrado. En esta extensión de mi mente, busco traducir lo invisible en presencia y habitar el vacío.

 

Mi proceso se centra en cómo transmitir una emoción intensa desde algo inmóvil y silencioso. Aspiro a que mis obras convivan con las personas en el entorno urbano y doméstico, mi objetivo es provocar una “grieta” en la rutina. Busco que este encuentro fortuito devuelva al espectador a lo íntimo y lo humano, recordándonos nuestra memoria emocional y la conexión más auténtica con nosotros mismos en un mundo cada vez más despersonalizado.

In my artistic practice, expressed primarily through sculpture but also through painting and printmaking, I explore the human figure and its emotional depth. My aim is to reveal the intimate truth of the bonds that unite us, pursuing the invisible in order to make it tangible.

In sculpture, my choice of materials such as bronze, resin, and steel is intentional. I am drawn to their strength and permanence, and I regard the act of shaping them with my hands as an almost sacred gesture. Through this extension of my mind, I seek to translate the invisible into presence and to inhabit the void.

My process focuses on how to convey intense emotion through something still and silent. I aspire for my works to coexist with people in both urban and domestic environments, creating a “rupture” in the routine. I seek to provoke a moment of encounter that returns the viewer to what is intimate and human, reminding us of our emotional memory and our most authentic connection with ourselves in an increasingly depersonalized world.
